U.S. Alumni Fair in Bucharest
On Friday, November 21st, during the International Education Week, the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission, together with EducationUSA, the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest and “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture, organized the U.S. Alumni Fair, a unique event, held for the first time ever in Romania.
24 alumni of various American universities – members of the U.S. embassy staff and Fulbright grantees – came together as representatives of their alma maters and spoke to over 400 visitors, acting as their guides on an exploration of the American college experience. During the 3-hour event, the high school and college students visiting the fair, together with their teachers and parents, had the opportunity to interact with the American alumni and to get more information on the free-of-charge services and resources offered by the Fulbright Educational Advising Center and the EducationUSA network.Read more...
