Why We Need Your Help |
Increasing costs, the decline of the dollar, and the unlikelihood of increased contributions from the U.S. Government require the Fulbright Commission in Romania to identify new sources of support in order to maintain its high-quality international education exchange, a program which dramatically affects lives and dynamically effects change. Higher education is expensive, as we know. Each Romanian scholarship we offer, on average, costs 25,000 USD. Fortunately, universities in the U.S. match the funds we generate, because they, too, are interested in exceptional students and researchers.
We would like to direct our fund-raising efforts toward supporting Romanian and American scholarships and to create a network of individual and organizational supporters who are willing to invest in outstanding students and researchers.
Rarely do we have the chance to make a dramatic difference in someone's life. Fulbright gives you that chance. It offers education that is life-changing. Please, help us make a difference. |
