Graduate Admissions Training I: Wise selection, perfect match, effective communication, full funding
This interactive session will cover the main criteria for selecting U.S. universities which nurture academic growth and offer financial aid to international graduate students.
Main highlights of the session include the competitive advantage of researching in-depth the study programs so as to be a good match, marketing yourself effectively, and developing a solid relationship with a professor in the program so as to increase chances of attracting a graduate assistantship. UNDERGRAD: Spring School hosted by "Gheorghe Lazar" National College in Sibiu
and made possible by the Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission and the U.S. Embassy in Romania
Reach for the Stars: College Education in the USA
Part of the FEAC team will be organizing a spring school in the heart of Transylvania, Sibiu, over April 1-3. 64 students from 5 high schools in Sibiu, 10th and 11th graders, will take part in the intense 3-day program.
We will discuss strategies for a strong U.S. application, draw inspiration from Romanian success stories, especially since a former FEAC intern, now a rising full-ride freshman at a U.S. university, will join us. One of the U.S. Fulbright grantees in Romania will also take part in the program and help introduce students to the U.S. academic and cultural environment. Stay tuned for news on the two summer schools we will be offering in two Romanian cities over the following months!

Founded in 1852, Tufts University is a private research university which consistently ranks among the top schools in the USA.
The university balances undergrad and grad programs, with similar numbers of students enrolled at each level of study, approx. 5,000, on four campuses in Massachusetts and the French Alps. A rigorous science curriculum as well as a broad-based liberal arts education explain why the school ranks in line with Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, and other top schools. The maximum financial aid offered last year was over $60,000, with an annual cost of $56,600.

Undergraduate Admissions Training V: Romanian success stories
The final session in the series presents case studies of successful Romanian applicants, highlighting the main ingredients of their admission.
With their authors’ permission, actual official transcripts, application forms, admissions essays, and recommendation letters will reveal the chemistry of their success.You will enjoy one more FEAC-produced video featuring Romanian students admitted and funded by top U.S. schools including Duke University, Yale University, Hamilton College, Occidental College, etc. A perfect opportunity to learn about the Romanian students’ match with their U.S. universities and the generous financial aid it generated!
