It promotes leadership development through learning and international cooperation. The Fulbright Program operates in more than 155 countries and over 285,000 participants — chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential — have had the opportunity to study, teach and conduct research in each others' countries and exchange ideas. Other grants for Romanians The Hergan Scholarships - Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago (www.iit.edu)  Scholarships offered - 1 award - full tuition scholarship for all years of study at IIT at the undergraduate level (Bachelor’s degree);
- 1 award - full tuition scholarship for 1 or 2 years of study at the graduate level (Master’s degree).

- TOEFL 90 ibt to engineering & science programs at IIT
- TOEFL 100 ibt if applying to Finance programs or other programs offered by IIT’s Stuart School of Business
- GRE general – recommended 1200 and above (combined Verbal & Quantitative) and 3.5+ in the Analytical section
