"I like the way theory is explained and information is structured, as well as the use of examples. I also like the fact that it has 8 practice tests, which is quite a lot! The only flaw is that the book doesn't have detailed answers for the practice tests. Plus the scores at the end of each test are somewhat misleading."

         LSAT

Poza 5.39The Fulbright Center currently stocks the following titles (with annotations by Irina Antonache, law graduate at Willamette University, OR):

LSAT: The Official Triple Prep Plus with Explanations, published by Law School Admission Council (LSAC)
The volume shows you how to approach the three LSAT question types using official explanations for right or wrong answers. The book includes some of the writing samples that have appeared on actual tests. It also gives complete instructions for the simulated test conditions, official LSAT instructions and answer sheets, as well as information on how to convert your score into the 120-180 scale.
It doesn't provide the best explanations on how to tackle the questions. Neither are the explanations in depth. However, it offers good test practice once you've learnt your strategies somewhere else.

Cracking the LSAT, published by The Princeton Review
The book gives you advice on how to eliminate answer choices that look right but are planted to fool you, crack complex arguments by zeroing in on the conclusion, use powerful methods of diagramming to solve game problems, ace the reading comprehension section by "mapping out" the passage, and earn a higher score on the writing sample by knowing what they're really looking for.
I find it very useful as it gives techniques for answering questions more in-depth. It's really good for the practice tests and it has lots of writing in it.

Master the LSAT, published by Nove Press
The volume contains detailed solutions to numerous actual LSAT questions, carefully selected to illustrate every type of question that has appeared on the test in the past several years, including the thorough analysis of a complete LSAT. These solutions will introduce you to numerous analytic techniques that will help you significantly not only on the LSAT but in law school as well.
I found very good explanations of how to approach questions or games in it. It's excellent for beginners as it has lots of practice.

LSAT, published by Barron's, 8th Edition
The book includes a diagnostic to determine your strengths and weaknesses, 6 practice exams with analysis and explanations, chapters for each section of the test with practice questions, explanations and analysis, and information on how to choose a law school.
Useful given the good clear strategies to practice and the test practice it provides.

LSAT, published by REA
Contains exercise drills for all test sections, an LSAT study course schedule, complete coaching and review, plus 6 exams. By studying the review, test tips, and strategies and completing all six tests you can discover your strengths and weaknesses and ultimately become well prepared for the actual test.
I find it more challenging, therefore I'd recommend it for a later stage of the preparation process. It's no doubt excellent for test practice purposes.
