Two new books with the Romanian-US Fulbright Commission logo were published by Tritonic Editorial Group: "Romanian Journalism" and "Wooden Language in the Press” both by Ilie Rad.
The books approach different subjects of interest, all related with media communication.

Now open: Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program Print

Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State that will provide 154 secondary school teachers from Europe and Eurasia, East Asia and the Pacific, the Near East, South and Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Western Hemisphere with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, and increase their knowledge about the United States.

The Romanian applicants are invited to submit applications no later March 1, 2010.

A new grant competition has just been opened this February.
International Fulbright Science and Technology Award is a very generous program for PhD study in the fields of science, technology or engineering. Candidates can be BA and MA students from both public and private universities. The Romanian applicants are invited to submit applications no later than April 25th, 2010.

The Romanian-U.S. Fulbright Commission is pleased to announce the competition for the Fulbright - Schuman Program 2010-2011. Awards will be available for: EU professionals, including professionals in training (decision-makers, policy-makers, individuals in industry, the media, politics, academia, and public administration) and professionals in international education administration (e.g., international exchange professionals, study abroad, or admissions officers). Grants are also available for academics who are intending to apply for post-doctoral lecturing on EU affairs at selected U.S. universities. Click here for details
