The exhibit is hosted by the Inter-art Foundation, a cultural foundation based in Aiud that organizes art events on both a national and international scope. The opening reception for the exhibition will be held on February 20th at 5 pm at the Galeria d’Art Aiud, Bailor 33 street. The exhibition in Lauren’s words: “A Fish in the Sky is a series of photos I made along the Black Sea in November. The images are about encounters and missed encounters, hope and abandonment— in many ways they explore the dichotomy of emotions that I have felt myself and seen expressed in others since arriving in Romania.” See more of her work here.
