Drexel University Rep Connects with Romanian Students in Bucharest

The Fulbright Educational Advising Center-EducationUSA team was happy to meet this past week with Drexel University representative Amanda Anderson (Director of Admissions), who visited Bucharest, October 4 through 6, and assist her in connecting with Romanian high school students.

On October 4, our guest delivered an engaging in-center presentation on study opportunities at Drexel University, which we also live streamed via the GoToWebinar platform. The attendees, mainly high school students, had a chance to learn more about Drexel’s rich academic offering, with its unique emphasis on experiential learning, the admission process and the generous financial aid available for highly competitive applicants.

We also accompanied our guest to three of the finest high schools in Bucharest - “Tudor Vianu” National College of Computer Science, “Saint Sava” National College and “Gheorghe Şincai” National College -, where an average 200 students (mainly 10th and 11th graders) gathered to hear the presentations, eager to learn more about the Drexel community and the path to studying at this prestigious U.S. school.

We took the opportunity to tell participants a few words about the resources awaiting them at FEAC-EducationUSA and ways we can help them in preparing strong applications to undergraduate programs in the U.S.
