Teacher-Training Course completed in Baia Mare

This project was led by Fulbright student grantee, Sarah D’Antoni, and the administration from the Maramures English education department. The project goal was to improve the teaching capacity and methodologies, in regards to classroom management, critical thinking, styles of learning and teaching, inquisitive learning, and professional development, of a considerable number English teachers in Maramures County. The 32 hour course over the span of 8 weeks began on November 18th, 2017, concentrating on classroom management techniques, critical thinking, styles of learning and teaching, inquisitive learning, working with learning disabilities, and professional development. The eleven teachers attending and completing the course improved their skills through lecture, games, interactive activity, and inquisitive-based learning during a total of 25 hours. Overall the project was a success and was unanimously valued by the participants.
