Graduate Admissions Training @ FEAC - Module III

When prospective graduate students are thinking about applying to the US for study, the process can seem lengthy and complicated at first. The role of the graduate application package, personal statement, and more were discussed at today’s graduate program overview session at the Fulbright Educational Advising Center/FEAC. The session on March 25th was lead by current American Fulbrighter, Anna Sherod, and 12 prospective applicants had the opportunity to discuss the US admissions process and do some interactive brainstorming about their personal statements. This session was the third in a series of five sessions designed to answer important questions for Romanian prospective graduate students, in partnership with Education USA and the Romanian Fulbright Commission.

At the RIUF in Iasi on March 20th, many high schoolers and university students interested in studying in the States patronized the Fulbright stand. 200 visitors came bustling through and inundated Corina Danaila, Director of the Romanian Program and Ioanida Costache, U.S. Fulbright grantee with inquiries.
